JOB DETAILS:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote trucks and heavy vehicles.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in logistics, transport, and construction sectors.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with fleet managers, company owners, and key decision-makers.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and explain financing/leasing options.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and prepare sales agreements.
  • Collaborate with the after-sales and service team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and regular reports for management.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering or related.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in sales for automotive, trucks, or heavy equipment sales is preferred.
  • Fluent in English (written, spoken, and reading).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
  • Strong public speaking and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to use modern research tools (AI apps, Google searches, Maps, etc.).
  • Creativity, solution-oriented mindset, and workload management.
  • Strong networking abilities with a customer-first mindset.
  • Excellent communication in English and Swahili.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and achieve targets.
  • Knowledge of CRM software is an added advantage.
  • Passion for the automotive/truck industry
