Ikigai Safaris is a luxury travel company founded in Tanzania, that specializes in creating bespoke safaris and unique international travel experiences. The company’s name and philosophy are inspired by the Japanese concept of “Ikigai,” which means “a reason for being” or “a reason to live”. The company designs personalized, mid-range to luxury safari tours in Africa. These can be customized for private groups and start on any day.

Responsibilities

• Manage Bookings & Itineraries
• Ensure smooth information flow within the team for seamless operations
• Communicate and coordinate with hotels, airlines, and other service providers
• Maintain records, monitor progress, and prepare regular performance reports

Requirements

• Strong computer skills (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, Canva, email & WhatsApp communication)
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili, with excellent communication skills
• Graduate with a bachelor’s degree and passion for travel and client servicing
• Based in Dar es Salaam, with flexibility to work both in-office and remotely, plus occasional weekend availability
