Job Description:
Mount Meru Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Sales & Marketing to lead its operations within the East Africa region, specifically based remotely in Tanzania. This pivotal role involves overseeing sales and marketing strategies, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector across the country. The successful candidate will be instrumental in achieving ambitious sales targets and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution capabilities, adept at navigating the diverse Tanzanian market. This role requires exceptional leadership skills to manage and mentor a sales team, coupled with a keen understanding of regional market dynamics and consumer behavior. Candidates should be prepared for a challenging yet rewarding career opportunity within a growing organization.

Job Requirements:
Any Graduate / MBA qualification
• Approximately 6-8 years of experience in FMCG Sales
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Africa (preferred)
• Proven track record of successful sales and marketing strategies
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales plans
• Proficient in managing budgets and achieving revenue targets
• Experience with distribution channels and partner management in FMCG
• Adaptability to dynamic market conditions in East Africa
