The organization is part of the international charity Camara Education, which is dedicated to transforming education through technology. Camara Tanzania is based in Dar Es Salaam at Engaruka Street, Kurasini, near immigration headquarters. Currently, we have seven employees and one volunteer, and we normally receive 2-5 interns between July and October from different universities across the country. The team is headed up by Dayani Mbowe.

Camara, we are looking for a Content Development Intern to support the creation, organization, and improvement of digital and learning content for our organization. You will assist in designing engaging educational materials, curating relevant resources, and ensuring that content aligns with our strategic direction. You will also contribute to developing innovative content solutions that support teachers, students, and other stakeholders in adopting technology for education.
Roles and Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management
- Assist in developing engaging learning materials, guides, presentations, and digital resources in line with organizational goals.
- Support in curating and updating educational content to align with the national curriculum and organizational strategy.
- Help create user-friendly materials that support ICT integration in teaching and recommended by learning
- Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across all content produced
- Assist in monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of content and suggest areas for improvement.
Digital Tools & Innovation
- Assist in creating multimedia content (infographics, short videos, and visuals) for training and communication purposes.
- Support the development of interactive resources that enhance student and teacher engagement.
Required Experience & Competence
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education
- Specialised in Science or Arts Subjects
- At least 6 months of teaching experience
Preferred Education Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education
