Calcination Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring calcination equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality gypsum products. This role is critical to maintaining the quality standards and operational efficiency of our manufacturing process.
Responsibilities or duties:
- Operate and monitor calcination equipment, including impact mills, crushers and related machinery, to ensure optimal performance.
- Adjust process parameters to maintain product quality and meet production targets.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Monitor raw material feed rates and ensure proper handling of materials during the calcination process.
- Record and analyze process data, identifying and resolving any deviations or issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the team members to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the Calcination In-charge immediately.
- Cleaning of machines, equipment’s and all areas around the calcination during maintenance days.
Qualifications or requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing preferably in calcination or similar processes.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures in an industrial setting.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, as required
