Exim Bank Tanzania recently finalized the acquisition of Canara Bank Tanzania Limited’s assets and liabilities in February 2025, marking its third acquisition in six years. This acquisition follows previous deals, including a bank in Uganda in 2016, UBL Bank Tanzania in 2019, and FNB Bank Tanzania in 2022. The bank’s net loan book stands at TZS 1.8 trillion, and its deposit base is TZS 2.5 trillion as of June 2025.

The Assistant Relationship Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships within an assigned portfolio. The role involves growing CASA FD and ASSET portfolios, acquiring new customers, meeting fee income goals, and offering personalized banking services. Additional duties include identifying cross-selling opportunities, managing sales data, and supporting branch managers in addressing key business issues.
