University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) is a public university located in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and is the country’s oldest and largest university. It was founded in 1961 as an affiliate of the University of London before becoming an independent institution in 1970. Core Duties & Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently transfer data from source documents (paper or digital) into company databases, spreadsheets, and other computer systems.
• Cross-check entered data against source documents to identify and correct errors, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Update, modify, and maintain existing data records to keep them current and accurate.
• Sort, categorize, and organize both digital and physical files for easy access and retrieval.
• Extract, compile, and generate reports from the data as requested by colleagues or management.
• Handle all sensitive information with integrity, maintaining strict confidentiality in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Transfer physical records into digital filing systems and organize both paper and digital files to prevent loss and maintain records.
• Perform routine data backups to ensure data preservation and prevent loss.
