JOB DETAILS:

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and review corporate, individual, and indirect tax returns in compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
• Conduct detailed tax research and provide advisory services on complex tax issues.
• Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring full compliance.
• Support tax audits and liaise with regulatory authorities on behalf of clients.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate implications to clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to provide integrated financial solutions.
• Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation.
• Prepare management reports and presentations as required.
• Mentor junior staff and assist in professional development initiatives within the team.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA(T) or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years and above of proven experience in a Tax and Auditing firm.
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate, personal, and indirect taxation in Tanzania.
• Proficiency in tax software (e.g., TIN, tax filing platforms) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Well-versed with Tanzanian tax laws, regulations, and international tax standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with professional client engagement.
