It is licensed by the Bank of Tanzania as a Digital Lending Provider. The company offers non-collateral loans that are approved quickly and disbursed directly to a customer’s mobile money or bank account. : The company’s platform is designed to provide financial services to individuals and small businesses that have limited access to traditional banking products.

Position Summary:  

A Sales Trainee at SAVA supports the sales team by learning essential sales  processes, understanding company products/services, engaging with  customers, and contributing to business growth. This role is designed to prepare  candidates for full-time sales positions within the organization.

Key Responsibilities 

Sales Support & Execution 

  • Assist the sales team in prospecting, lead generation, and follow-ups.
  • Participate in client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Support the preparation of sales proposals, quotations, and  documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and sales  activities in CRM tools.

Market & Product Knowledge 

  • Gain in-depth understanding of SAVA’s products, services, and value  proposition.
  • Study market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences.
  • Collect customer feedback and share insights with the sales and  marketing teams.

Customer Relationship Building 

  1. Provide basic customer service support under supervision.
  2. Build strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  3. Assist in resolving customer queries and escalating issues when necessary.

Training & Development 

  • Participate in structured training programs covering:

o Sales techniques

o Negotiation skills

o Product knowledge

o CRM and reporting tools

  • Shadow senior sales team members to learn real-world selling strategies.

Reporting & Documentation 

  1. Prepare daily/weekly reports on sales activities and learning progress.
  2. Track sales performance data and help in generating sales analytics or  dashboards.

Required Qualifications. 

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing,  Commerce, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with CRM is a  plus.
  • High motivation, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
