“Mixx by Yas” refers to a mobile financial services platform in Tanzania, formerly known as Tigo Pesa. It was rebranded along with its parent company Tigo, which is now called Yas Tanzania. The Mixx by Yas mobile app offers a wide range of services for users in Tanzania. The platform facilitates instant and secure mobile transactions, such as sending money to individuals and businesses, paying bills, and buying airtime.

Purpose of Role

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will act as a strategic partner to the business, aligning human-resources strategies with the organisation’s goals, and working closely with business leaders to drive people-performance, talent development, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

• Collaborate with senior business leaders to translate business plans into people strategies.
• Lead workforce planning, talent mapping and succession planning to ensure the right capability is in place for current and future needs.
• Use HR metrics and analytics to provide insights and drive decision-making.
• Continuously review and improve HR processes, systems and tools to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Define competency requirements in partnership with managers and design recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.Recruitment Portal Service
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment: job description development, screening, interviewing, selection, offer and onboarding.
• Embed a smooth and engaging onboarding process to assimilate new employees into the culture, vision and values of Yas Tanzania.
