Kifaru Real Estate is a construction and real estate company based in Tanzania, specializing in building modern, affordable houses. The company builds homes for customers who already own land and offers free construction consulting. A related but separate company, Kifaru Properties, operates in Kenya.

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in cost management and project control within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare tender and contract documents, specifically for construction projects.
• Conduct cost analysis and ensure strict cost control on expenditures.
• Monitor budgets and prepare accurate project financial reports.
• Evaluate and manage variations and contractual claims.
• Value completed works and coordinate timely payments.
• Liaise with engineers, site managers, and clients to maintain project efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site visits for progress assessments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in housing or road construction projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Nest and other cost management tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
