Zimtech is a brand of home appliances, particularly known for its blenders, that are sold in Tanzania. They are advertised as being powerful and durable, with unbreakable jars. The most prominently featured Zimtech product is a “Power Blender” with a heavy-duty motor and an unbreakable jug.
Job Purpose
To manage and control stock levels, ensure accurate record-keeping, prevent shortages or overstocking, and support smooth sales and warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
1.Stock Control
- Record all incoming and outgoing stock accurately in the system/POS.
- Maintain updated stock levels and reconcile with physical stock.
- Monitor re-order levels and alert management when stock is low
- Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly).
2.Warehouse & Store Operations
- Ensure stock is stored safely, systematically, and labeled properly.
- Supervise stock issuance to sales or store staff based on approved orders
- Verify goods received from suppliers against invoices and delivery notes.
3.Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or theft immediately
- Provide sales, stock movement, and fast/slow-moving product analysis.
4.Compliance & Accuracy
- Ensure stock records match accounting and financial reports.
- Follow company procedures for stock handling and issuing.
- Support auditors and management in stock verification.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma/Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Accounting.
- Experience with POS / inventory software and barcode systems.
- Strong analytical and numeric skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Honest, disciplined, and able to work under minimal supervision.
